Short term goals:
Harrisburg Fringe Festival: goal, summer ‘23, envisioned as a large-scale Harrisburg-based celebration of our arts community in partnership with local artists, government, and businesses
Prioritize engaging with partners from historically marginalized communities and/or artists working at the experimental fringes of their medium
Build good faith partnerships with the community and prove ourselves to be committed, thoughtful partners
Create digital space that serves to help unify and boost the community
Broker existing space within the community to create connection and opportunity in mutually beneficial partnerships with artists, businesses, and organizations
Creatively reinvent space for artistic, educational, or community-building purposes
Build a coalition of allied volunteers who can assist the community in its work
Approach all partnerships with a non-competitive “joiner” spirit, a willingness to listen and learn, and a “How can we help?” spirit, looking for pragmatic, sustainable ways to provide actionable allyship and support
Long term goal:
One day we hope to build a business that can sustainably operate a dynamic, modern venue/flex space on behalf of showcasing our arts partners and community and living our mission more fully
